The
St.George-Illawarra Dragons Premier League
side have defeated the Cantebury Bulldogs
34-6. Yesterday's result secures the lower
grade minor premiership, denying the Sydney
Roosters who are on equal competition points.
The Dragons, with the best attack and defence
in the competition, will secure first spot
on the Premier League ladder regardless of
other results.
In other news, the Panthers have defeated
the Broncos 46-20 in last night's National
Rugby League encounter, effectively denying
the Dragons fourth spot on the NRL ladder.
The Dragons first graders will now have to
play next weekend's semi-final at an away
venue.
