Almost a year after the launch of the R2K website, Kogarah Council has created another Jubilee Oval website. The new site relates to the Jubilee Oval Community Appeal (JOCA) which is aiming to raise as much as 1.85 million dollars for improvements to facilities at Kogarah.

The goal of JOCA is to “raise sufficient funds to develop a sporting entertainment and recreational facility that provides a diverse range of activities for all members of the Community and a 'Boutique Oval' that offers the spectator and competitor a unique experience.”

The JOCA website contains information on how to support the project, details of upcoming events and a funding thermometer to track the success of the appeal. As part of its fundraising initiative, JOCA is offering supporters the opportunity to have their names and messages immortalised in stone on a walkway at the improved Jubilee. There are two options available, a personalised granite tile or a personalised paver which sell for $500 and $200 respectively.

The fundraising events will culminate in ‘Red & White Day’ on April the 5th when the refurbishments are scheduled to be completed.
