St George Illawarra Dragons chief executive officer Peter Doust issued the following statement today after unprecedented speculation about the position of head coach with the club.

Doust said current head coach Andrew Farrar has not been released.

He said the club had maintained for some time that all coaching positions would be reviewed when the Dragons’ football performance is reviewed at the completion of the season.

“The process of review is an important management activity that will occur within an appropriate timeframe as far as the club is concerned and the club will have no further comment to make until the process has been completed,” Doust said.
