In
keeping with earlier statements from the St George
Illawarra club board, a review will soon be held
to decide, amongst other things, coaching duties
for next season.
Head coach, Andrew
Farrar (pic right) came under some pressure in 2002
after a disappointing year. The Dragons rallied
late in the season but it remains to be seen if
this has been enough to salvage Farrar's position.
There has been suggestion
that the coach of Jersey Flegg side, Nathan Brown
may step up to take an assistant coaching role to
Farrar in the top grade. Brown has had significant
success with the young minor premiers.
Other rumours suggest
that Andrew Farrar may resign as early as today,
paving the way for a new head coach.
The Dragons NRL side
finished the season last weekend after being knocked
out by the Sharks in the first semi-final.
