St George Illawarra Dragons centre Shaun Timmins
has been ruled out of Sunday's clash with the Newcastle
Knights.
Saints need to win
to qualify for the semi-finals but its unlikely
that Timmins will be able to take any further part
should the Dragons pull off a victory.
Prior to this season,
Timmins had been out for the best part of two years
has been having knee troubles for the past three
weeks.
This year he has made
it into the New South Wales and Australian teams.
Timmins joins Mark
Riddell*, Matt Cooper and Chris Leikvoll on the
sidelines for the vital encounter. Damien Bower,
Craig Stapleton and Wise Kativerata come into the
side.
While for the Knights
Danny Buderus is out with wrist problems and John
Morris is back in his home town because of a family
bereavement.
*Late reports indicate
that Mark Riddell has passed a fitness test and
may still take the field.
