Kogarah Council has advertised in the St.George Leader for a Jubilee Oval Sponsorship Manager. 

The advertisement states that:

"Kogarah Council is leading a Regional campaign to re-establish Kogarah Jubilee Oval as the home ground in Sydney of the St.George-Illawarra Dragons rugby league team....Council is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sponsorship Manager to coordinate fundraising activities and actively seek out and secure sponsorship opportunities.

Rockdale Council has decided to allocate $7,000 to help fund the position. It is expected that the position will last for three months with the possibility of an extension should circumstances require.

R2K is yet to hear if Rockdale Council will be willing to allocate any additional funding towards the Jubilee upgrade. Hurstville Council will meet tomorrow night to decide how they can contribute to the return to Jubilee.
