The R2K walkathon was staged on Saturday, the 9th of February and 
  raised in excess of $1,500.00 for St.George junior rugby league and 
  the `Save Sight Foundation'. 

  The walkathon was run in conjunction with the Kogarah Lions Club.

  The participants included Tristan Burg, Melina Lathouras, Lachlan 
  McLean, Zoran Mitrevski, Fay Samuel & Pamela Stevenson. 

  R2K will now look to financially assist 2 junior clubs as a result of 
  the fundraising walk. 

  The cheque for the `Save Sight Foundation' will be presented
  to the Kogarah Lions Club on the 16th of March at R2K2 (Kogarah Oval 
  Information Night).

  R2K would like to thank those who donated. A special mention must go 
  to Dragan Blazevic who turned up at Jubilee Oval on the day of the 
  walk and made a $50 donation.
