As the match wore on, Roosters contined to employ a tactic of slowing
down the play-the-ball, but were rarely penalised.

Clint Greenshields (#1) was sin binned after Lester (#19)
was pushed into touch after being tackled.

The reply shows that John Carlaw was the culprit.

Tony Jensen after tackling Roosters back Anthony Minichiello into touch.
Despite being down to 12 men, Saints looked to being getting on top.
But gaps appeared soon after and the Roosters scored the next two tries.

Shaun Timmins on the sideline.
He was later told he had a fractured cheekbone
and will be out for 4-6 weeks.

Brent Kite

In the dying minutes, Saints came within a whisker of winning following

Ben Hornby

Full time in the sheds and the players are distraught.
