An incident during the match when coach Nathan Brown berated
skipper Trent Barrett, Brett Firman and Lance Thompson.
At one point, Brown 'clipped' Barrett across the cheek
and then literally grabbed and pulled Barrett and Thompson into line.
Brown was later apologetic to Barrett
but was 'slapped' with a fined $5000 by the NRL and took
full responsibility for his actions.

At the time, Saints had just leveled the scores at 12-all.
Afterwards, Manly ran in five unanswered tries.
